Teen Angel and the Rockin Rebels - The Rest of the Story
by David C. Oberman - ISBN 978-19995258-2-8
Teen Angel and the Rockin Rebels — The Rest of the Story includes photos of the band from 1973 to 1979.  In addition, this book looks back at a teenage Peter Dean prior to forming Teen Angel and the Rockin Rebels with Mark Dean and Rick Booth. In this book, you will find lots of previously unpublished information about the band and some of the band members, pages of material written by band members, and colour snapshots taken by Terry Moore and others close to the band that have never been in print. The Teen Angel and the Rockin Rebels in the Twenty-First Century section, contains some great images of the band performing in 2006 and 2014.
By 1974, Teen Angel and the Rockin Rebels were considered to be Canada’s foremost rock and roll band and were performing to record breaking audiences across the country. Other than Sha Na Na they were, by all accounts, the most well-known Rock n Roll revival band of the time. The band performed and toured throughout Canada and in parts of the USA for several years (1970-1980). At the peak of their popularity, the band was working 50 weeks a year, performing six nights a week. There is no doubt that they fully entertained innumerable audiences, young and old, with their unique performances.
I am very impressed with the high quality of the printed book. The book is a large 10.75" x 8.25" landscape publication with 66 pages (including covers) with a Wire-O binding that allows the pages to lay flat when the book is opened. The book is printed on a thick, heavy, luster paper stock that really make the photographs look great and the book a pleasure to handle.

In 1976 Teen Angel and the Rockin Rebels preformed on Halloween Night at the Zodiac Cabaret in New Westminster, BC.  Here is a recording from that performance at the Zodiac. Great Band, great classic doo wop song, "Blue Moon"
